Who are we?
The “lone wolf” facing insurmountable odds, fighting oppressive regimes, defying death to topple tyrants is fiction. It’s entertaining fiction but fiction nonetheless. We each have our part but we must move with purpose and in union.
Community and communication are the most potent tools that can be deployed to repel the attacks, repair the damage, clear the wreckage from society and build an enduring culture of liberty.
Communities banding together around a common purpose animate history. Luther’s 95 Theses, the Founder’s Federalist Papers, the Multitude’s X – technology changes but exchange of ideas has always fanned the flames of change.
We are building the Commons to give people committed to liberty a place to birth and resurrect the ideals of freedom. The people of the Commons value those ideals and will propel them into the next era of history.
The Minds Behind the Madness
All of Efysus, including the Lighthouse, is a family business. We live, work, play, and worship in Aurora, Colorado.
He’s an electrical technician by trade. She’s an illustrator, animator, and homeschooler. The kids are (usually sweet) agents of chaos.
None of us knew anything about content creation when this whole thing started. We’re learning but still have quite a ways to go.
We follow the calling God set before us. We have no idea where this path will lead or what lies at the end. We live by faith.
